Carrickfergus Borough Council acknowledge the efforts of local, cultural, community and sporting groups as well as individuals in their contribution towards the development of a sustainable community.

Arts and Events

Arts - applications are welcome from visual, performance, traditional and creative arts individuals or groups who will develop and promote the arts in the Borough

Events - applications are welcome from groups who wish to stage an event in the Borough which will provide entertainment and/or education to the people of the Borough

Community Festivals - applications are welcome from groups who will improve the skills of their local community, promote social inclusion, improve community relations and contribute to community regeneration.

All of the above grants are offered under a rolling programme and can be applied for any time of the year, except the Community Support Large Grants. The opening and closing dates to apply for a Community Support Grant (2011 - 2012) will be 1 - 30 November 2010.
