Electoral Area: Knockagh Monument
Cllr Andrew Wilson was elected to the Knockagh Monument area of Carrickfergus Borough in May 2011, and is one of 4 UUP representatives on Council. He is currently the youngest Councillor in the Borough and also the youngest of 99 UUP representatives in Local Government at the age of 23.
Andrew is currently Vice-Chairman of the Support Services committee on Council (2011-12), and sits on numerous sub-committees including Finance Monitoring and Sports / Leisure. He has a keen interest in European funding and sits on the Comet Interreg and GROW outside bodies.
Andrew is a serving Boys’ Brigade officer and has been a lifelong member of Carrickfergus Methodist church.
