The Siege of Carrickfergus & Historical Pageant

A colourful re-enactment of the history of Carrickfergus is brought to life over the weekend of 12th - 14th June 2009.
To coincide with the Borough's 60th anniversary, the Siege of Carrickfergus in 1689 by the Duke of Schomberg will be dramatically recreated over the weekend 12th - 14th June 2009 in an historic walled town location! This new event will add to the colourful annual Pageant on Saturday 13th June which explores Carrickfergus' unique cultural history and features historical re-enactment, exhibitions, fireworks, family and live musical entertainment.
