Tree Week Events in Carrickfergus

National Tree Week (26 November - 4 December 2011) is an annual festival to mark the start of the tree planting season, and a nationwide celebration of trees and woods. National Tree Week is a great chance for communities to do something positive for their local treescape. Across the Borough there will be lots of opportunities to plant trees.
Tree Week events in Carrickfergus Borough:
Tree planting at Blackhead Path in Whitehead on Tuesday 29th November 2011 at 11am.
Tree planting at Eden Allotment Gardens (off Beltoy Road) on Friday 2nd December 2011 at 11am. In association with Conservation Volunteers NI.
Please Bring:
- Wellies
- Suitable clothing for weather
- A spade if you have one (we have several so don't worry if you don't)
- Something to share for lunch
- Enthusiasm! - For a fun and productive day.
