Titanic Honour & Glory Exhibition
01 April 2012 - 28 April 2012
2012 marks the 100th Anniversary of the sinking of the famous passenger ship the ‘Titanic’.
To mark this significant and poignant centenary a national touring exhibition Titanic Honour and Glory, is set to open to the public at the Temporary Gallery, Carrickfergus Museum & Civic Centre on Friday 17 February 2012 and will run until 28 April 2012.
This travelling show was voted by The Times newspaper as one of the top 5 exhibitions in the country in 2008 and has been seen by over a million visitors across the UK. Titanic Honour & Glory is an exciting, awe inspiring and evocative travelling exhibition. It features many rare and previously unseen artefacts from the liner’s passengers and crew. These include some beautiful china dinner plates, which served the first meals aboard the Titanic.
