FREE Healthchecks for Dogs from PDSA

Wednesday 18, Thursday 19 and Friday 20 July 2012 will see PDSA returning to the Borough offering dog owners FREE healthchecks and offering advice on pet welfare.
All dog owners in the Borough are encouraged to bring their dogs along to the PDSA PetCheck Vehicle, dates and locations are:
- Wednesday 18 July 2012 (10 am to 5 pm) - Castleview Road Car Park, Whitehead
- Thursday 19 July 2012 (10 am to 5 pm) - Glassillan Grove, Greenisland
- Friday 20 July 2012 (10 am to 5 pm) - Castle Green, Carrickfergus
(PLEASE NOTE: on busy days an appointment system will be in operation)
The PetCheck includes:
- body condition and weight,
- teeth and gums,
- eyes and ears,
- coat condition, and
- general fitness.
All advice is FREE. For safety, PDSA asks that ONLY DOGS be brought to the PetCheck Vehicle, no other types of pets can be seen.
PDSA is a charitable organisation set up to care for the pets of people in need by providing free veterinary services to their sick and injured animals and promoting responsible pet ownership. Their website (www.pdsa.org.uk) provides useful tools to help people choose the right pet for them, along with heatlh advice for all pets.
