Sports Development Consultation
This consultation has been launched by Carrickfergus Borough Council to gather feedback on current Sport Developmentand Physical Activity provisions throughout the Borough.
Carrickfergus Borough Council Leisure & Sports Development Team are looking to develop their services and are keen to learn how they could best support you, your club or activity group.
To enable this, the Team has created a Sport Development & Physical Activity questionnaire: ‘Your Club, Your Say’. We would like to hear from all residents of the Borough, whether you are current user of our facilities, participate in ourprogrammes, a representative of a sporting organisation, a community association or youth group we would really like to hear from you. The questionnaire gives you the opportunity to tell the Team what you think its sport development and physical activityprogrammesshould look like in Carrickfergus and provide information about your club/group, its members and the areas of support that are important to you.
The findings of its consultation will be used to shape the Council’s new Sport Development and Physical Activity Strategy for 2012–2015. This will outline our plans to enhance and develop ourprogrammesand initiatives in partnership with other priorities and users.
The consultation is open from Tuesday 22nd November 2011 until Sunday 22nd January. You can take part by completing survey online here, or by taking part in one of our focus groups. For further information on the consultation process please contact Paul Mawhinney 028 93 35 88 88 or email pmawhinney@carrickfergus.org
