Sports Development Grant Awards
The Sports Development team at Carrickfergus Borough Council prides itself with assisting aspiring sports teams and individuals to meet their goals through various grants for Excellence, New Club, Sports Training, Club Equipment, Sport Events & Sports Coaching. September 2011
Chairman of the Leisure & Sports Development Sub Committee (Ald Billy Ashe) presenting a cheque to Geraldine Duggan from Belfast Lough Sailability for hosting a International disabled Sailing Rally within the Borough. A Sport Grant Award of £250 was awarded to the club. |  |
Chairman of the Leisure & Sports Development Sub Committee (Ald Billy Ashe) presenting a cheque to Philip McCurrie from Metro Young Men for a new start up club grant. A Sport Grant Award of £200 was awarded to the club. |  |
A sport Grant Award cheque was presented to Grant Jones for representing the Northern Ireland at this year Home International Clay Pigeon Competition in Ardee, Ireland. A Sport Grant Award of £110 was awarded to the individual. |  |
