Promoting Northern Ireland’s Biodiversity

04 April 2011

The Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA) and the Northern Ireland Biodiversity Officers Forum today announced details of a new photo competition which seeks to promote the discovery and enjoyment of Northern Ireland’s countryside and native wildlife.

Everyone from across Northern Ireland is invited to submit their images which must have Northern Ireland’s landscapes or natural world at their heart and can feature people, plants, mammals or birds.

The winning images will feature in the Northern Ireland Environment Agency 2012 wall calendar promoting Northern Ireland’s biodiversity and photographers of each of the winning images will receive a framed print of their image.
