After 27 years loyal service Sally McDowell retires from Council
Popular Registrar Sally McDowell retired from Carrickfergus Borough Council today, 1st July 2011. Sally has given 27 years loyal service working as a Registrar in the Council. In that time she has registered thousands of births, deaths and marriages. Always a pleasant person, Sally took care of the happy occasions of births and marriages as well as deaths in a professional and sensitive manner.
Sally will be missed by her many friends within Council and in the local community as well. We wish Sally a long and happy retirement to pursue her many interests which include travelling abroad and skiing. Good luck Sally!
