Diamond Jubilee Flower Bed Planted

A Diamond Jubilee themed flower bed has been planted at Castle Green in Carrickfergus to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. The flower bed contains over 8,000 alpine plants and was designed and planted by staff from the Council’s Parks & Countryside Service.

Carrickfergus' Big Jubilee Picnic
Sunday 3 June
Time: 12.30pm - 4pm
Venue: Shaftesbury Park, Joymount

Why not come along to Carrickfergus Borough Council's Big Jubilee Picnic in Shaftesbury Park in Carrickfergus and help celebrate the Diamond Jubilee with a host of family entertainment! Don't forget to bring your picnic and a blanket!

Venue: Blackhead Car Park, Whitehead, Fisherman's Quay, Carrickfergus and Knockagh Monument, Greenisland (the latter organised by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors)
