Don't miss a great family afternoon's entertainment
For a great family afternoon's entertainment, don't miss the Carrickfergus Christmas lights switch on taking place on Saturday 17 November from 1pm to 6pm. Downtown Radio and Cool FM's very own Stuart Robinson will be hosting the packed afternoon's entertainment which will also feature reindeers, street entertainers, live music, children's arts and crafts, a market, competitions and of course, no lights switch on would be complete without an appearance by Santa himself!
The afternoon's entertainment will culminate in a special children's show starring Percy the Penguin and his two elves on stage from 5pm-5.30pm, the lights switch on at 5.30pm, followed by a finale fireworks display at 5.45pm.
All events will take place in Carrickfergus town centre with fireworks on the waterfront. Organised by Carrickfergus Borough Council in conjunction with the Carrickfergus Traders and Retailers Association.
