Walking Tours
a

Take a walk through time

There’s only one way to really discover what life was like in Carrickfergus 800 years ago, and that’s to explore it on foot with an experienced guide who knows the town intimately.  Local guide John McIlvenna, is familiar with every inch of the town, knows the ancient characters that used to walk its streets and has a deep understanding of its changing social history.  His tours bring these people and places alive in ways that are stimulating, entertaining, educational and relevant.
